The Silent Diver substantially reduces the noise of exhaled air and allows divers to get much closer to wildlife without disrupting the natural environment. The Silent Diver is designed to bolt directly up to the Poseidon Cyklon 5000 2nd stage regulator without modification. A low back pressure design does not require regulator re-calibration and is imperceptible to the diver. The rigid low profile design stays out of the way and does not impact the diver's range of motion. Exhaust bubbles are directed to the side maintaining the excellent visibility characteristics of the side venting regulator. With the Silent Diver equipped the noise of exhaled air is less than the regulator inhalation sound.
